Welcoming
Register a Child for School
Starting school is an exciting step in your child’s journey.
The Settlement Support Workers in Schools (SSWIS) program help newcomer families navigate the school system with confidence. Our staff assist families with the registration process, provide orientation to the Canadian school system, and help them connect with schools in their neighbourhood.
We also offer guidance and support to help children adjust to their new learning environment and feel welcomed, included, and ready to succeed.
