Education in a Diverse World is a practical, five-module online professional development course designed to help educators strengthen their understanding of today’s diverse school communities. Teachers and school administrators continue to look to SODS for meaningful cross-cultural support—and this course provides additional support for educators.
Through short readings, videos, images, quizzes, and real-world classroom case studies, participants explore global education, culturally responsive teaching, inclusive assessment, and strategies for conflict and culture clash. Each module offers clear, actionable tools to help educators deepen their understanding of students’ cultural perspectives, build stronger classroom relationships, and create inclusive learning environments.
Open to Education students, Teachers, Professors, Administrators, EAs and all interested learners. The course is free.
