Welcoming

Provincial Settlement Service (PSS)

The Provincial Settlement Service (PSS) Team is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Immigration and Career Training (ICT).

What We Do

We are committed to providing newcomers with general information and/or referrals to settlement services, language training, public services, and community resources in Saskatoon and the catchment area.

Eligible newcomers can access services at the pre-arrival stage, as newly arrived newcomers, and others who seek settlement services at various points within five years of arriving in Saskatchewan.

The PSS team provides settlement services within a tiered system:

Two Tiers of Service

The PSS team provides settlement services within a tiered system:

  • Tier 1: Quick service, general information, and referrals to services on a walk-in basis.

We serve the following demographics:

  • Temporary Foreign Workers (with Open or Closed Work Permits)
  • International Students (with valid Study Permit)
  • Refugee Claimants
  • Visitors, Canadian citizens, and others (those without valid status are only eligible for Tier 1 services)
