- Availability of affordable and safe housing for newcomers
- Barriers such as credit history requirements, landlord discrimination, and high rental costs
- Role of housing support services, emergency shelters, and alternative housing solutions

- Access to K–12 schooling for newcomer children, including language supports and adaptation programs
