Joseph Naytowhow
An award winning interdisciplinary artist and traditional knowledge keeper, from Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Joseph Naytowhow delights diverse audiences with story, teachings, spoken and written word, and a personalized blend of traditional and contemporary music. Through his Plains/Woodland Cree (nehiyaw) lens Joseph inclusively educates and serves in classrooms, at festivals, during ceremonial practice and through his life experience . His busy schedule includes advice and consultation to several universities, the provision of voice-over translation services to many organizations and individuals, and artist collaborations the world over. Author and co-author of several literary and research publications, he is also a member of both ACTRA and SOCAN. Joseph currently serves part time at the University of Saskatoon in the College of Law.
Prince Sobere George
Prince Sobere George is a sustainability and inclusion advocate dedicated to bridging local and global perspectives. Born in Nigeria’s Niger Delta, he brings a lived understanding of environmental justice and equity to his work in Saskatoon. As a volunteer, board member, and mentor with organizations such as the Friends of Saskatoon Afforestation Areas, he promotes accessible sustainability education, community engagement, and youth leadership. Prince empowers diverse communities to take action and has represented community voices at local and international platforms, including the United Nations Environment Assembly. His initiatives foster inclusion, empowerment, and long-term impact, building a more equitable and resilient Saskatoon.

Jacqueline Tisher is a visionary leader, compassionate advocate, and trailblazing social entrepreneur whose life’s work has transformed the landscape of care for children with complex medical needs in Saskatchewan. As the Founder and Strategic Advisor of Hope’s Home, Canada’s first medically‑inclusive childcare center, Jacqueline has spent more than two decades advancing a model of care that ensures every child—regardless of medical challenges—has a safe, joyful, and supportive place to simply be a kid.

Shahira is a certified Executive Coach (ACC-ICF) and PMP-certified Project Manager with a Bachelor’s in Commerce. I am a Mexican entrepreneur and co-founder of The Sure O’s Co. in Saskatoon. Moving to a new country comes with challenges, but it also brings the courage to dream bigger. Through resilience, hard work, and pride in my roots, I have been able to build a business that shares my culture and creates opportunities for others. Ralaivao E. N. M. Hanitriniaina, know as Hanita, Originally from Madagascar, moved to Canada in mid-2021 and co-founded Red Island Extracts in Saskatoon with her partner Ryan Neuls, who shares a passion for culinary craft. Our small-batch business produces premium vanilla extract, vanilla paste, and gourmet spices inspired by the rich flavors of my homeland. We ethically source our vanilla and spices from family networks and group farmers in Madagascar, then craft every product in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Red Island Extracts is built on purity, quality, and fair trade impact. More than a business, it bridges continents—connecting cultures, farmers, and our local community through authentic flavor.

Carla Bitar is an immigrant entrepreneur, mother of two, and the founder of Fit by Carla, Saskatchewan’s first Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) fitness studio. After a 17-year corporate career, she rebuilt her professional path in Canada, transforming challenges into opportunities to pursue her lifelong passion for health and wellness. Through perseverance, continuous learning, and earning multiple fitness certifications, Carla created a space that empowers individuals to regain strength, confidence, and well-being. Deeply committed to community inclusion, she uses fitness, mentorship, and outreach to inspire others, especially women and newcomers, to believe in their resilience and pursue their potential.
Krisztina (Tina) Marki
As a Community Engagement Architect, Krisztina (Tina) Marki transforms underutilized public areas into vibrant “Third Places.” After navigating the isolation of arriving in Saskatoon as a newcomer mother, she turned her personal challenge into a mission of connection. She pioneered the year-round, sponsor-backed Mom & Baby Yoga program, empowering over 300 women to overcome isolation. By forging strategic partnerships, Tina bridges the gap between infrastructure and the human soul, proving that resilience isn’t just about surviving a new country—it’s about building a home for everyone.
